Orani North Elementary School is the biggest central school among the 16 elementary schools in the municipality.
It was established on May 12, 1916 at Balut National Highway through the efforts of Engr. Antonio Tayzon, Provincial Engineer of Bataan, under the administration of Junta Provincial, Mr. Maximino Delos Reyes – Provincial Governor, Leoncio Espino – Tercel Vocal, Lorenzo dela Fuente – Segundo Vocal, Pedro Gonzales – Secretary of Junta Provincial, Pablo Tecson – Deputy of Bataan, Balbino Kabigting – Provincial Treasurer, Carlos de Guzman – Provincial Assessor, Carlos A. Imperial – Judge, Serafin Villanueva – Provincial Fiscal, Luis Baltazar – Escribano de Bataan, Camilo Osias – Schools Division Superintendent of Bataan and succeeded by Mr. Honorio Poblador.
For the municipality of Orani, the following personalities served their constituents; Fruto Santos – President, Felipe Vinzon – Vice President, Julio Ramos, Tomas Mayoralgo, Hospicio Bongco, Juan Peña, German Iguico, Domingo Garcia, Tiburcio Paredes and Victorino Rodriguez. All councilors, Tomas Oconer – Municipal Treasurer and Silvestre Jimenez – Municipal Secretary.
In 1925-1928, the 9 classroom – Gabaldon Building, 2 classroom Home Economics building and 1 shop room were constructed. It was in Gabaldon Building where the offices of the principal and district supervisor were housed.
Orani North Elementary School has an area of 12,422 square meters with catchment barangays since 1941-1943 such as Bayan, Balut, Mulawin, Centro I-II, Masantol, Paking, P. Bago, P. Luma, Parang-Parang, Silahis, Tarangka, Tenejero and Wawa. There were 3 teachers each in Grades I-IV, 2 teachers each in Grade V, VI, VII, 2 Home Economics teachers and shop teacher a total of 21 teachers. There were no shortages in classroom at that time because of Gabaldon Building. Below is the list of Teaching Force in 1941.

Grade VII was abolished in 1942 and in 1960, Orani Elementary School was divided into two; Orani North Elementary School and Orani South Elementary School in Parang-Parang. The Gabaldon building was demolished in 1990 and replaced by a 2-storey building under the initiative of Congressman Felicito Payumo – Congressman 1st Congressional District. New school buildings were constructed due to its increasing enrolment.
At present, the school has buildings for academic and non-academic classrooms, administration building, BEAM Center, Math Center, Science Room, SPED Center and open air auditorium. It has one principal, 72 teachers, 3 watchmen, 2 utility workers, clerk, nurse, 2,508 elementary pupils and 206 pre-schoolers.
Orani North Elementary School has successful alumni like ex-Governor Efren Pascual Sr., ex-Mayor Marlo Zuñiga, Board Member Mayor Efren Pascual Jr., Mayor Benjie Serrano Jr., Dr. Florante Cruz, Dr. Erlinda Carlos, Judge Benjamin Vianzon and many more. Through its vision, mission of delivering quality educational services, more graduates of this school become successful and assets of the society.
